Full job description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Music Producers who provide the whole package of production, mixing and mastering.

The current cohort on our artist development programme sings to a dark pop/ alternative, rock who specializes with working with indian classical instruments and styles so it is preferable that tracks match this vibe (But we are looking for all styles so please apply regardless!)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw audio recordings into polished, professional tracks that meet high-quality standards. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate on diverse musical projects, ensuring each production is sonically compelling and artistically aligned with client visions.

We will be forming a team of freelancers under this category, who will be paid at track by track basis; we would like to hear your ball park so please make this known! (We will also be paying for any studio time/ allowing use of our studios to producers who we sign on)

Duties

Collaborate closely with artists and sound engineers to understand project requirements and artistic direction.
Mix multiple audio tracks, balancing levels, EQ, compression, and effects to achieve optimal sound quality.
Master final mixes to ensure consistency across various playback systems and formats.
Utilise digital audio workstations (DAWs) and specialised software for editing, mixing, and mastering audio files.
Provide creative input on sound design, arrangement, and overall sonic character of the tracks.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Maintain organised project files and ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in music production, specifically in mixing and mastering professional tracks.
Proficiency with industry-standard software including Logic Pro, Ableton, etc
Knowledge of photography and video editing is a plus for multimedia projects.
Strong understanding of audio engineering principles and acoustics.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for music production.
Ability to work independently as a freelancer with excellent communication skills. This position offers flexible working arrangements suited for self-motivated professionals eager to contribute their expertise in a collaborative environment.

Pay: £20.00-£100.00 per day
