About the Role
We are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our growing team based in Luton. This role is ideally suited to a candidate with one to three years' post-qualification experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and busy property department. The successful candidate will be office-based in Luton for at least three days per week.
Location:
Luton (minimum 3 days per week in the office) | Experience: 1–3 years PQE.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction through to completion and registration
- Reviewing title documentation, raising and responding to enquiries, and reporting to clients
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring deadlines are met
- Providing a high standard of client care throughout the transaction process
About You
- Qualified Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
- One to three years' post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
- Experience handling all stages of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a busy environment
- Able to work from our Luton office at least three days per week
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous, but is not essential:
- Shared ownership sales and purchases
- New build properties
- Transfers of part
- New lease sales
- Trust deeds
- Commercial property transactions
