Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Lloyd’s animal Feeds is a family-owned milling business producing poultry and ruminant feeds across its 5 feed mills in the UK. Lloyds are now recruiting for a full time Electrician to join the team based in Oswestry.

Role Profile
This role operates within the maintenance/engineering department, working with a small team of engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The role of the Maintenance Engineer, is to carry out all aspects of plant maintenance and repair to ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the feed mill.
You should be able to proactively carry out all aspects of plant maintenance and repair, which includes electrical PLC controlled switchgear, inverter-controlled drives, solenoid and limit switching and have a good understanding of schematically wiring diagrams.
Mechanically you would be expected to repair/replace all types of machinery which includes conveyors, elevators, compressors, hammermill grinders, pellet presses and have experience in pneumatic and hydraulic controlled equipment. There will also be a requirement for fabrication work including welding and machine installation. Full Training will be given to the right candidate.
You would be expected to accurately record all maintenance activities for legal compliance and work in accordance with the company’s current health and safety at work policy.
The Person
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual with a positive attitude who can work under pressure when things are not quite going to plan. There will be an expectation that all work undertaken is done so in a safe manner and to the highest standard.
You should be experienced in a similar role and have an electrical qualification - 18th edition electrical installation.
You should also be able to demonstrate experience of implementing both short term and long-term solutions within our high-speed environment.
Preferred skills and/or qualifications:
· Time served electrician, educated to 18th Edition
· Some mechanical experience preferred with on the job training given where needed.
· Computer literate, particularly regarding Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
· Formal training relevant to maintenance and manufacturing environments.
· Problem solving ability.
Competitive Salary depending on experience
Two shift patterns available:- Call outs on a rota basis.
4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights 4 off)
Days- Monday - Friday
