We’re looking for a Hot Tub Technician & On-Call Caretaker to join our team in Ellesmere, Shropshire but will include supporting our sister park in Llangollen. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working outdoors, and delivering the high standards that create a five-star guest experience.
Working closely with the Park Manager and Head of Maintenance, you’ll play an important role in keeping our park looking it's best, ensuring our facilities are well maintained, and helping guests enjoy a smooth and memorable stay.
What you’ll be doing:Hot Tub Technician Duties
- Cleaning, emptying, refilling, and preparing hot tubs on guest changeover days
- Carrying out hot tub checks and ensuring every tub is clean, safe, and ready for new arrivals
- Taking pride in the appearance of our outdoor hot tub areas, including leaf blowing, tidying, and creating a welcoming space for guests
- Setting up and taking down gazebos and outdoor areas as required
- Working efficiently and managing your time effectively to complete changeovers to a high standard
- Identifying maintenance issues and reporting them promptly to help keep everything running smoothly
On-Call Caretaker Duties
- Acting as a friendly and helpful point of contact for guests when reception is closed
- Supporting guests with queries and helping resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Using your initiative to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
- Providing the extra care and attention needed to deliver a five-star guest experience
- Carrying out basic groundskeeping, general maintenance, and DIY tasks
- Supporting the wider team with emergency on-call telephone cover on alternate weeks
- Travelling between both parks on your rota'd weekend for hot tub checks and guest support
What we’re looking for:
- A practical, hands-on person who enjoys variety and getting things done
- Someone who takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail
- A natural problem solver who can think independently and find solutions
- Good customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to work efficiently, manage your time well, and prioritise tasks
- Basic DIY, maintenance, or outdoor work experience would be an advantage
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
Hours:
- Zero-hours contract with flexible working
- Regular changeover support on Mondays and Fridays (inc. Bank holidays)
- Weekend hot tub checks and caretaker duties on assigned weekends
- Approximately 4 hours on your allocated Saturday and 4 hours on your allocated Sunday
- On-call telephone support on alternate weeks
