Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in Exeter for a Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role will be £57,842 per year and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

Joining our team and reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, the EC&I Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the mechanical engineering and maintenance on site in co-operation with the Mechanical Engineers. Your goal is to ensure optimal long-term availability of the plant, and you will work closely with the site teams to preserve the value of the assets and to meet set health and safety, environmental and financial targets.
In your role, you will be responsible for all electrical, controls and instrumentation engineering, alongside the efficient planning and execution of maintenance activities associated with the ERF plant, including the stores and workshops management. You will also use your engineering expertise and guidance to help others develop their skills.
