The Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Procurement Administrator to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and playing a key role in supporting the procurement and supply chain function. As Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of purchasing and delivery processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential administrative support across the department. You will work closely with suppliers, hauliers, and internal teams to help ensure products are delivered on time and business operations run efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and schedule deliveries with external hauliers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. • Monitor outstanding purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers regarding overdue deliveries. • Review and process supplier order confirmations, ensuring all orders have been received, acknowledged, and actioned correctly. • Manage and process delivery notes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within company systems. • Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including creating new product records and setting up promotional activities. • Order, monitor, and maintain office stationery and supplies. • Support the wider team with additional administrative duties as required. Full training will be provided in supplier ordering and stock transfer processes, enabling you to gain valuable procurement experience and provide support and cover during staff holidays and absences. The Ideal Candidate:
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence speaking on the telephone. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage a varied workload. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • A positive, professional, and team-oriented approach. Desirable • Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative role.
