Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded precisely, and assisting with financial reporting. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills directly contribute to our success.

Duties

Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using accounting software Hubdoc Xero
Be familair with VAT rules, VAT returns and general day to day reconciliations
Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly financial closings
Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries for management review
Monitor and update accounts receivable and payable ledgers

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software HUbdoc and Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices
Experience with other accounting tools or software is a plus
