Overview

We are seeking a Self-Employed Part-Time Dental Associate to join our mixed dental practice. This role offers flexible working hours suitable for professionals looking to expand their experience within a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently while providing high-quality dental care across a variety of treatments. This position is ideal for a motivated dental professional aiming to develop their skills in a supportive setting.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, including visual inspections and patient history reviews
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges with precision and care
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing dental restorations where applicable
Interpret medical imaging, including X-rays and scans, to diagnose dental conditions accurately
Apply anatomical knowledge to ensure safe and effective treatment planning and execution
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and practice efficiency

Qualifications

Fully qualified Dental Surgeon registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques
Competence in using CAD software for restorative procedures is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients
Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism
Ability to work independently as a self-employed practitioner within a team environment
Knowledge of current dental practices, infection control protocols, and health & safety regulations
