Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working in a dynamic environment, with potential for skill development. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
Operate tools safely to assist with cleaning tasks.
Assist with the assembly and disassembly of equipment or fixtures as required for cleaning or maintenance purposes.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all cleaning supplies are stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. The individual must have a high-level understanding of COSHH, Ensure the individual knows what cleaning chemicals are used, and the use of correct or additional PPE.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
The individual must be able to follow SOPs ( Standard Operating Procedures ) to ensure all types of cleans are completed and recorded for audit purposes.
Complete the correct sections of the logbooks, cleaning records, relevant to the type of clean completed, once the clean and documentation is complete it available for auditing.
As an individual you have responsibility for cleaning, maintaining, sanitizing highly controlled environments within the facilities.
The individual must adhere to a strict dress code; the individual must be willing to follow controlled gowning procedures to prevent contamination within the facility.

Skills

High levels of focus are required to ensure the entire room is cleaned and sanitized to prevent contamination.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and report issues effectively. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
Good spoken and written English, with neat and legible handwriting.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Any experience with the above responsibilities would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time position for 35 hours per week. Four on Four off shift pattern.

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
