Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Craftsperson to join our facilities team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent shift-based position working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, days only from 06:30 to 18:30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager
To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
To manage Contractors as necessary
Working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, days only from 06:30 to 18:30.

Who are we looking for?

Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
Experience in building services is required
Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an AP as required
IT Literate
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice; formal training an advantage.
