You’ll be joining a small team at our 5* boarding kennels.
The working day is 7.45am - 5.15pm, with an hour’s paid lunch break and a 15 minute morning break. You’ll work a repeating four weekly rota, alternating 4 and 5 days per week. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays, including the Christmas period.
You will need a reliable form of transport to and from work, as buses are not frequent.
Applicants do not need former experience, all training will be given, but applicants will need to be physically fit enough to spend all day on their feet, in all weathers (from -5° to +35°). You must be able to work well in a team and show initiative and motivation when working alone. You must have a high literacy in English and speak it fluently. Above all, applicants must be hard working, reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic and trustworthy.
Pay based on experience and aptitude.
The job entails all aspects of dog care; feeding dogs, administering medication, bathing dogs, exercising dogs, cleaning kennels, general site housekeeping and maintenance. You will also interact with customers, in person, via email and over the phone. Furthermore, we have an active social media page and all staff feature on there with the dogs. You may be part of the managing team so previous managerial experience would be beneficial.
