About the Role
As a Locality Manager, you will play a crucial role in the effective operation and management of the locality team within the Adult Social Care Service. You will be responsible for:

Leading and managing a team of professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support services
- Overseeing the assessment and review process, ensuring that individuals' needs are accurately identified and appropriate interventions are put in place
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective service delivery and ensure positive outcomes for individuals
- Managing resources effectively, including budgetary oversight and allocation of services
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
- Providing expert advice and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing
- Contributing to the overall strategic development of the Adult Social Care Service
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Significant experience working within an adult social care setting, with a strong understanding of the challenges and complexities involved
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with individuals, colleagues, and external partners
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in adult social care
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and deliver within deadlines
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information, making informed decisions based on evidence
- A positive and solution-focused approach, with the ability to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement
This role is fixed term until 30/10/2026 – Interim support (short term organisational change)
