We are inviting applicants for the Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse role within health visiting in Oxfordshire commencing Sept 2026.
The role is fixed term for 12 months full time and will include both academic studies ( Buckinghamshire New University ) and working alongside your Practice Supervisor and Clinical Education Lead in placement, we would then expect the candidate to carry on working with us for a further 2 years at Oxford Health.
This includes but not limited too, delivering the Healthy Child Programme, safeguarding, supporting with maternal mental health, delivering baby clinics and supporting infant feeding in line with Unicef BFI accreditation.

This offer is a fulltime paid post with both academic and placement requirements, to ensure completion of this specialist qualification.
When in placement, you will work within the 0-19 team supporting locality wide work specifically within the Health Visiting team. The role involves working in partnership with families, primary care, schools and statutory and voluntary services and other partner agencies to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.
