An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Finance department.

About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner provides high-quality financial insight and support to business leaders, helping drive performance and informed decision-making.

The role combines strong financial analysis with commercial understanding, supporting both day-to-day performance and forward-looking planning. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the position plays a key role in improving financial visibility, strengthening accountability, and supporting delivery of business objectives.

What you will do

Business Partnering

Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insights
Support decision-making by translating financial data into meaningful business recommendations
Build strong working relationships across functions to improve financial understanding and accountability

Planning & Forecasting

Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with business stakeholders
Provide variance analysis and commentary, highlighting key risks and opportunities
Support ongoing improvements in forecasting accuracy and financial processes

Month End/Reporting

Deliver timely and accurate month-end reporting, including analysis of key drivers
Provide insight into business performance, focusing on trends and areas for improvement

Commercial Support

Contribute to financial evaluation of projects, contracts and business initiatives
Support business development activities
Assist with cost management and identification of efficiency opportunities

Governance & Controls

Ensure adherence to financial controls and processes
Support audit and statutory reporting requirements in collaboration with Finance & Accounting

About you

Essential:

Proven experience in a finance business partnering role
Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills
Good commercial awareness and ability to link financials to business performance
Ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders
Proactive and solutions-focused approach
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accountant qualification
Experience with D365 or other relevant systems.
