Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Aircraft Paint Sprayer to join our specialised team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to aircraft surfaces, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of various painting techniques within an aerospace environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical work, fabrication, or construction painting to develop their expertise in aircraft finishing processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare aircraft surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mix paints and coatings accurately according to specified colour codes and formulations.
Operate spray guns and power tools safely to apply primer, base coats, and topcoats uniformly across aircraft surfaces.
Utilise hand tools and fabrication equipment for surface preparation and minor repairs prior to painting.
Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations during all stages of the painting process.
Inspect finished work for quality standards, ensuring smooth, even coverage without runs or blemishes.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including proper disposal of waste materials.
Collaborate with team members on assembly and fabrication tasks as required during the aircraft finishing process.
