Job Opportunity: Events Assistant (Full-Time)
Contract: 12-Month Maternity Cover (with potential for a permanent position)
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7, including Saturdays and Sundays). Shifts generally between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
Pay: National Minimum Wage (dependent on age group)
About the Role
Our small, friendly Central Reservations Team is looking for a new colleague! This is a multi-skilled role providing vital administrative and telephone support across our reservations, events, and groups departments.
We are looking for a skilled administrator with a passion for sales who can work under their own initiative. You will deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every guest encounter—whether via phone, email, or face-to-face—is a positive one.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer & Sales Support: Efficiently handle inquiries, maximize bookings, and conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients.
- Administration: Manage day-to-day admin duties for both the Reservations and Events departments across phone, email, and post.
- Event Delivery: Provide hands-on operational support on event days to ensure smooth execution.
