Full job description

Proud2Be is a grassroots LGBTQ+ charity supporting people across Devon to thrive, feel safe, and be proud to be themselves. We are looking for a compassionate, organised and motivated Senior Youth Worker to join our team in South Devon.

In this role, you will help lead and deliver inclusive youth groups, events and 1:1 support for LGBTQ+ young people. You will work alongside staff and volunteers to create safe, empowering and engaging spaces that support young people’s personal, social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting and supervising youth workers and volunteers
Coordinating 1:1 support referrals
Delivering online and in-person youth activities and events
Promoting inclusion, well-being, and safeguarding
Supporting the development of programmes and activities for LGBTQ+ young people

This role requires some evening and weekend work, including attendance at Pride events.

- South Devon
- 18 hours per week
- Equivalent to £29,908 FTE, paid pro rata for 18 hours per week.
- Fixed-term contract for 3 years

An enhanced DBS check will be required.
