Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team, providing expert foot and ankle care to diverse patient populations. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions, ensuring optimal foot health and mobility. Your expertise will contribute to improving patients’ quality of life through personalized treatment plans, preventive care, and education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across various age groups and health backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions through physical examinations and medical imaging reviews
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include medication administration, wound care, orthotic prescriptions, or surgical interventions as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on clinical research projects related to podiatric health innovations and best practices
Provide patient education on foot care, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes or arthritis
Assist in managing care for patients in nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice settings, or during home visits to ensure continuous support and treatment adherence
Maintain detailed medical records, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in compliance with healthcare regulations
Stay current with advancements in podiatry, medical imaging techniques, and public health initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
Proven experience in clinical research related to foot health or musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable
ICU experience or familiarity with acute care settings is preferred for managing complex cases
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to the lower extremities and proficiency in interpreting medical imaging results
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse populations including elderly patients and those requiring hospice or home care services
Ability to administer medications safely and effectively while adhering to healthcare protocols
Prior nursing home experience or work within senior care environments is advantageous for understanding specific patient needs
Commitment to ongoing professional development in public health initiatives and innovative treatment modalities
