Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Joinery Factory Production Manager with proven garden buildings and hands on joinery experience within a dynamic wood working factory to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities of our garden rooms and wooden furniture ensuring a seamless coordination across departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and process excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of garden room and joinery factory production, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels.
Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall operational effectiveness.
Oversee quality control procedures to guarantee products meet company standards and customer expectations.
Supervise assembly lines and mechanical operations, providing guidance on technical issues and troubleshooting equipment as needed.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and initiating corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans proactively.

Skills

Strong knowledge of management systems for inventory management, production planning, and reporting.
Solid understanding of supply chain processes to coordinate procurement, logistics, and inventory control effectively.
Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery and understand assembly processes.
Expertise in quality control standards and techniques to uphold product integrity.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing workflows.
