Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team in a vibrant take away in Fowey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are cooked to perfection, adhering to food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook various food items using deep-frying techniques, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food products.
Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or issues with supplies.

Skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous.
