What we need in a nutshell
We want our guest to have a whale of a time down at the pool. As Assistant Leisure Manager, you will make this happen by ensuring the hygiene and safety of the pool and leading a team of qualified lifeguards.

We need you to be the person who delivers delight – and safety - when our guests are splashing about at the pool.
The nitty gritty of what you’ll be doing
Working as part of our slightly bonkers team of holiday heroes, you will manage the poolside team, looking after everyone’s safety, keeping the whole area clean and hygienic and making sure that we’re meeting our legal requirements.
What you’ll also be doing, is leading by example: being incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and 'mucking in’ when you need to.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
There’s plenty of training, but as you will need to already have:
- A current NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- A current PPO (Pool Plant Operations) qualification
- Great interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly
- Proven leadership skills

If your application is successful, you’ll have to apply for an Enhanced DBS. We need to be happy that this, together other information we may request, is all in order before you can join the team.
