Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Support in training junior staff and apprentices where required.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
