Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Also must have experience using a Mag Drill . This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in TIG welding, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly within a dynamic environment. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal components
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication and assembly
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet safety and quality standards
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication within a manufacturing or workshop setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools
- Experience working with and understanding of fabrication processes
- Must have experience in using mag drill
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of various welding equipment is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
