Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and are suitable for those looking to build a career in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, providing recommendations when appropriate
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Ensure tables are cleared promptly and reset for new guests
Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues swiftly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and side stations
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including hygiene standards and COVID-19 protocols

Skills

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and allergy awareness is desirable
