We are looking for a relationshiop builder rather than a sales person- an ability to win trust is far more important than previous sales target figures!
Moore Networking is a social enterprise Project Management Company that runs TrAC, Unitas and Enable Futures which are multi-sectoral government registered Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency. Moore Networking is the lead partner in FutureIN, a project supporting those who are vulnerable and at risk of homelessness to acquire and maintain construction-based Apprenticeships.
TrAC is an award-winning not-for-profit company, which operates across the East Midlands, South-East and East to support fixed term apprentice placements across most business sectors. As a DfE registered Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency, TrAC generally employ around 100 apprentices at any one time, who are placed with host companies, their sub-contractors and supply chains for fixed durations of 6 months or more, to provide them with the opportunity to complete their training. Since our launch in 2012 TrAC has achieved high levels of apprentice retention and 100% into employment or further learning on completion.
FutureIN is delivered by Moore Networking and TrAC in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It supports vulnerable individuals into lasting careers in the Construction Industry.
Enable Futures is a national award winner in the sector and delivers the same services as TrAC, but covers the Northeast, Yorkshire and Humberside and the Northeast Midlands.
Unitas is a leading learning provider currently delivering Youth Justice & Criminology courses. Unitas is aligned with the MNL Group in being dedicated to improving the outcomes for individuals and offering flexible models focused on driving change in their specialist field.
Moore Networking also develops and provides software to businesses including databases, HR management systems and Website developments.
Principal Accountabilities
- To develop new business leads for TrAC, Enable Futures and FutureIN.
- To work with Head of Business Development and Service/Project Leads to create new opportunities for development through mixed methods of communications.
- To refer interested businesses to team members for development.
- To assist in maintaining and building database of business leads for follow-up throughout the year.
- To provide feedback from employer conversations and act as a first point of contact for employers contacting us via phone, referring to team members as appropriate.
- To research potential new business opportunities for engagement using a variety of online systems and websites.
- To research training provision for Apprenticeships, on behalf of the Head of Business Development and the Business Account Manager.
- To provide administrative support to the Head of Business Development when requested.
- To support businesses to make informed choices that maximise the opportunities for their business and for us.
- To accurately record each intervention on the relevant electronic system.
- To ensure the accurate recording of data, information and notes is maintained in a timely manner across all MNL group systems.
- To use resource tools to identify new upcoming and current projects.
- Engage prospective clients via phone calls and emails
- To support the delivery of all aspects of the services at all times to ensure an even distribution of work. This could include being asked to carry out tasks required by the project that are not covered elsewhere in these job description.
- To ensure that the workplace is kept clean, tidy and sanitised. Portray a positive image of Moore Networking at all times.
Experience & Knowledge Required
- An understanding of the skills and Apprenticeships landscape, including the political drivers at national and local level and the management of TAS
- An ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with a range of people internally and externally
- Good evident IT competency ability with Microsoft packages
- Confident use of telephone and email
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Friendly and outgoing manner
- Good team player
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Well organised and able to manage time effectively
- An understanding of the rules relating to data protection and information management
- Experience working with CRM tools and maintaining detailed activity records
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

This role is classified as an Agile Worker. Working Week - Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm with 3 days attendance from the office normally required. Some out of hours work may be required on occasions.
