At Alba Trees we sell approximately 20 million trees per annum and are one of the largest suppliers to the woodland and hedging sectors.
We are looking to recruit an E-sales and Despatch Team Lead who will work in our busy operation based in East Lothian. The role is key to our operation and you will play an important part in it. You will collate and pack complex orders where accuracy and a fast pace are critical.
Candidates should have a keen interest in working in a fast-paced outdoor environment and will be happy supporting the wider team as required. The role can be physically demanding at times and a strong work ethic is essential. You will need to liaise with other team members and departments daily to ensure we achieve our targets.
Applicants must be passionate about delivering great service in the team and enjoy working in an agricultural / production style environment. You will be a team player and good communicator, who is keen to learn new skills.
Excellent communication skills and an organised approach to work are key to this role. Basic computer skills will be required.
You will be responsible supporting and leading E-sales & Despatch processes from receiving graded stock, collating orders, dispatching deliveries and supporting query resolution. You will maintain the E-sales & despatch area and upholding our high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Despatch & Assistant Despatch Managers to ensure excellent communication and a smooth flow of product to our customers.
- Support processes for managing stock levels in an orderly way ensuring stock is availiable as required.
- Ensure that stock in your care is maintained to the highest standards including watering, identifying re-grade requirements and observing cultural needs.
- Support a positive, energetic, and productive work environment.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings as required.
- Support smooth despatch of all orders in a timely manner.
- Support in delivering high standards across the site
- Ensure H&S of the team is at the forefront of all you do.
