About Us
BetTOM is a family-run business operating in the dynamic and fast-paced gaming sector. We are looking for a motivated and people-focused Compliance Manager to supervise and support our Compliance Team based in our Uckfield office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys developing people, maintaining high standards and supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy compliance department. Previous experience within the gambling industry is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
About the Role
As Compliance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Compliance Team, ensuring customer reviews are completed accurately, consistently and in line with company procedures.
Working alongside the Chief Compliance Officer, Head of AML and Head of Safer Gambling, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Team, monitor performance, develop team members and help ensure compliance processes are delivered to a consistently high standard.
You will coach and support Compliance Officers, monitor workloads, conduct quality assurance reviews and help create a positive, collaborative working environment. You will also assist with more complex customer reviews and escalations, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and play a key role in maintaining an effective and high-performing compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day performance of the Compliance Team.
- Coach, mentor and support Compliance Officers.
- Monitor workloads and allocate tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with more complex customer reviews and escalations where required.
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of compliance procedures.
- Identify training and development opportunities within the team.
- Produce reports and management information.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Head of Compliance to support departmental objectives.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Uckfield, East Sussex.
- Must have the right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available).
Working Hours
- Full-time position.
- Rotating schedule covering office hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
- Coverage across 7 days per week.
