We are looking for a reliable, passionate and collaborative Lead Stroke Nurse to join our specialist stroke service and play a key role in delivering outstanding patient-centred care. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families affected by stroke.
Our service is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based stroke care across the patient pathway, from emergency assessment and acute treatment through to rehabilitation and recovery support. We believe in compassionate care, clinical excellence and continuous improvement. We are seeking a proactive and resilient leader who shares this vision.
As Lead Stroke Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership, inspire and support multidisciplinary teams and help drive service development to ensure safe, effective and ethical care delivery. The role contributes directly to improving patient outcomes, enhancing patient experience and supporting innovation within the stroke service. You will promote a culture of candour, accountability and collaboration, while acting as a role model for professional standards and best practice.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong clinical expertise in stroke care and the ability to take ownership of service priorities while maintaining a balanced and supportive approach to leadership. You will work closely with consultants, therapists, community partners and senior leadership teams to ensure seamless and high-quality care for patients throughout their recovery journey.
