Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Maintenance Manager to oversee a nationwide HVAC division . The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in HVAC and air conditioning systems, and a proactive approach to ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with supervisory experience and mechanical knowledge to lead a team and manage complex projects within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities of HVAC systems across multiple sites, including tenders and quotations.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Manage projects related to HVAC upgrades, replacements, or system optimisations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and control system documentation such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Lead a team of technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and organisational policies.

Skills

Proven management and leadership abilities with supervising experience in technical environments.
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute complex maintenance projects effectively.
Extensive mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and electrical experience for troubleshooting control systems.
Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and understanding programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
Effective communication skills in English for liaising with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.

Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a collaborative working environment. This position is ideal for a motivated professional seeking to utilise their technical expertise within a managerial capacity in the HVAC industry.
