COMMUNITY CARERS REQUIRED - FLEXIBLE WORK PATTERNS-'

Full-time or part-time £13.45 PER HOUR Weekdays and £13.75for Weekends -SHIFT PAY and also 45p PER MILE TRAVEL- Contracted Hours

Harbour Care Services provide a service of care and support throughout Pembrokeshire. We offer a number of Services to individuals in the community.

We pride ourselves on our dedication to a person-centred approach, high quality and friendly service which promotes the wellbeing of our Service User’s.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic care workers to join our team and help make a difference. We have positions available in Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Johnston, Freystrop, Sardis, Rosemarket, Neyland and surrounding areas, with various shifts available and various contracts:

16 hour

24 hour

30 hour

40 hour

We are happy to discuss set days and shift patterns as we understand the importance of a work and home life balance. The wellbeing of our staff is very important to us.

It is essential that all applicants are 18 or over and have a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle.

Experience is not essential as full induction and on-going training is provided. All staff are fully supported through the Social Care Wales Registration process and their required QCF qualification.

Competitive rates of pay, as well as 45p mileage and shift pay from start of shift to end of shift paid.

28 days holiday per year (pro rata)

In depth training package

Senior staff available at all times when any staff member is on duty to provide support and advice if required.

The ideal candidate will be:

Able to undertake lone working and work as part of a team.

Driven to achieve goals and improve personal development.

Candidates will be required to:

Promote independence, equality and diversity with all Service User’s, maintaining high levels of dignity and respect.

Assist with personal care and continence care as required promoting dignity and respect throughout whilst ensuring choices and preferences are maintained.

Meal preparation

Medication assistance

Domestic duties

Manual handling tasks as directed by required training.

Maintain accurate records and reports, respecting GDPR requirements.

Liaising with Senior staff Appropriately.
