Full job description

We have a vacancy for a full time permanent position for a Plant Delivery Driver (LGV Class 2 licence). You will be working a 40 hour week (no nights), Our usual business hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, plus alternate 1/2 day Saturdays 8am to 12 noon. We offer a competitive rate of pay plus overtime pay.

You will be responsible for the following:

To deliver and collect plant and machinery to and from specific locations around West Wales.
To instruct customers how to operate machinery on delivery (training will be provided).
Carry out loading and unloading of beaver tail lorries or pick up and trailer.
To carry out yard and workshop duties as required.
To assist fitting staff when required.
To clean hire equipment, using pressure washer cleaning facilities as required.
To communicate accurately to your supervisor, work colleagues and customers regarding job specifications such as ETA's, missing/damaged items and obtaining signatures when delivering/collecting items.
To comply with all PPE requirements for Collins Bros (Pembs) Ltd or site regulations.
Carry out all given tasks as set out in the Company Policy Procedures as applicable.
Liaise with the office and work closely with the team to undertake all other reasonable tasks asked of you by office staff and site management at any location and time.
