Internal Sales Representative: Relationship-Driven

About Us

Southern Doors Ltd is a growing, family-run business established in 2020. We supply and install premium garage doors, front entrance doors, and awnings across the South-East. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing, outstanding customer service, and a supportive, close-knit team culture.

The Role

We are seeking an outgoing, proactive, and genuinely empathetic Internal Sales Person to join our team in East Peckham, near Tonbridge.

In this role, you will manage our inbound enquiry flow, ensuring every homeowner receives a warm, helpful, and premium experience. This is a consultative, relationship-building position focused on helping customers find the right solutions - there is no hard-nosed cold calling.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound enquiry management: Handle incoming sales calls and emails from interested customers.
Consultative quoting: Guide clients through our product range, create accurate quotes, and conduct timely follow-ups.
Survey coordination: Book site surveys for our field teams.
Lead nurture: Build lasting relationships and support light lead-generation activities to hit team goals.
Data accuracy: Maintain precise, highly detailed customer records within our systems.

Who You Are

Empathetic & Outgoing: You love speaking to people, listening to their needs, and helping them get exactly what they want.
Confident Communicator: You possess a warm engaging telephone manner and clear written communication skills.
Reliable Team Player: You are self-motivated, have sharp attention to detail, and thrive in a growing family environment.
Experienced & Tech-Literate: You have experience in a similar internal sales, customer service, or parallel support role, and you are comfortable using modern IT systems.

Package & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Office-based near East Peckham, Kent (with free on-site parking)
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (flexible/negotiable for the right candidate)
Holiday: 20 days paid holiday per year + bank holidays

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
