We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Marketing Executive to lead and elevate marketing performance across our franchises, strengthening brand presence, enhancing customer journeys, and driving measurable sales growth
Role Overview
The Marketing Executive will take ownership of the planning and execution of integrated marketing activity across both brands. This role combines strategic coordination with hands-on delivery, ensuring all campaigns, content, and channels are aligned with manufacturer standards and commercial objectives.
A key focus of this role will be product positioning and placement, ensuring that our brands vehicles are effectively showcased across all customer-facing channels to maximise visibility, desirability, and conversion.
The working hours for this role are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be based from our Hyundai - Penarth Road, Cardiff site and travel across our dealerships in South Wales and the South West will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Delivery & Brand Management
- Plan, manage, and execute marketing activity across our franchises in line with brand guidelines and compliance standards
- Ensure consistent and premium brand representation across all digital and physical touchpoints
Content Creation & Digital Presence
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality content across websites, social media, paid channels, and manufacturer platforms
- Maintain accurate and compelling vehicle listings, offers, and digital assets
- Create dealer generated content for all media platforms.
Product Placement & Promotion
- Strategically position our vehicles across all marketing channels to maximise exposure and customer appeal
- Coordinate product placement across digital platforms, including homepage features, social campaigns, and paid media
- Lead in-showroom product presentation, including vehicle displays, POS materials, and promotional zones
- Organise External product placements, arrange bookings, model focuses, decals for vehicles, brand event kits, brand ambassadors.
- Notify all relevant management of bookings and set up instructions
- Collaborate with sales teams to highlight priority models, new launches, and high-margin products
- Ensure alignment between online presentation and physical showroom experience for a seamless customer journey
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Support and deliver integrated campaigns including new vehicle launches, seasonal promotions, and aftersales initiatives
- Coordinate dealership events, sponsorships, and local marketing activity to enhance community engagement
Performance & Insights
- Monitor campaign performance, analysing digital metrics, website traffic, and lead generation
- Provide insight-driven recommendations to continuously optimise marketing effectiveness
- Utilise manufacturer, CRM, and Auto Trader reporting to inform strategic decisions
CRM & Customer Engagement
- Support CRM activity, including email campaigns, lead nurturing, and customer communications
- Enhance customer journeys through targeted messaging and data-driven segmentation
Internal & External Collaboration
- Work closely with dealership leadership, sales teams, manufacturers, and external partners to deliver aligned marketing outcomes
- Act as a key point of contact for brand compliance and campaign approvals
Operational Delivery & Compliance
- Maintain marketing plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Manage marketing systems, user access, and data accuracy across all platforms
- Ensure dealership information is consistently accurate across all online listings and third-party platforms
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a marketing, digital, or content-focused role
- Strong understanding of digital channels, social media, and online customer behaviour
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand excellence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics
Desirable
- Automotive or multi-site retail marketing experience
- Experience working within manufacturer brand frameworks
- Knowledge of SEO, paid media, and content management systems
- Experience with CRM platforms and customer lifecycle marketing
