Semi Senior Accountant

Hours: Full Time (35 hours)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Tenby

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate looking to further advance their knowledge, experience and skillset. As a Semi Senior Accountant you will have worked previously within an accountancy firm and hold a suitable qualification such as AAT Level 4 (or be qualified by experience).

Responsibilities

Be proactive and efficient in the organisation and management of own work whilst ensuring that deadlines and expectations are met.
Assist colleagues with the preparation of accounts, the associated letters and emails for clients.
Work as a ‘buddy’ to Assistant Accountant, ensuring the required support and delegation are provided.
Work proactively to develop professional relationships with portfolio clients whilst displaying a commitment and understanding of their needs.
Proactively take responsibility for managing own workload, ensuring that all relevant deadlines and requirements are met whilst ensuring that all administrative matters for clients are dealt with and updated appropriately.
Complete accounts for various industries including agriculture, traders, limited companies.
Support with the engagement of audit field work.
Maintain a portfolio of MTD/VAT clients.

Requirements

Must have worked in an accountancy practice for at least 2 years.
AAT qualified (or qualified by experience).
Good knowledge on accounts preparation and personal taxation.
Cloud accounting experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
