Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various properties to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of building techniques and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The Insulator will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that insulation is applied correctly and meets all safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs using various materials such as Glass Wool, sheeps wool and rigid PIR Boards
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete insulation tasks.
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper installation and adherence to building codes.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in Installation of Insulation is a must.
- SVQ / NVQ Level 2 .
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment is essential.
