Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various properties to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of building techniques and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The Insulator will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that insulation is applied correctly and meets all safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs using various materials such as Glass Wool, sheeps wool and rigid PIR Boards
Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete insulation tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper installation and adherence to building codes.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.

Experience

Demonstrable experience in Installation of Insulation is a must.
SVQ / NVQ Level 2 .
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment is essential.
