Location: Barnsley
Hourly rate: Up to £19.00 DOE (fully climbing qualified)
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday
About the role
At idverde, we provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. We are now looking for a talented and experienced Arborist Climber, to join a new team in Barnsley.

Requirements

Previous experience of working in a Climbing Arborist position.

Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.

Relevant qualifications such as: Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41).

Eye for detail and willingness to learn.

A valid DBS, dated within the last 6 months, would be a huge benefit. But one can be obtained by idverde for the right person.
