Salary: £42,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)

We are seeking an exceptional KS3 Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team and play a pivotal role in shaping high‑quality teaching, learning and inclusion for our pupils—many of whom have complex needs, including autism, communication differences and social, emotional or developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher at Lamledge School, you will:
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity, progression and meaningful learning for all pupils.
- Champion inclusive practice and contribute to the ongoing development of our SEN provision, working closely with families, external agencies and our in‑house therapy team.
- Model effective teaching strategies and collaborate with Teachers and Teaching Assistants to support pupils with diverse needs.
- Create a stimulating, safe and well‑organised learning environment that promotes independence, communication and core life skills.
- Use assessment, data and evidence to set ambitious yet achievable targets, monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to whole‑school planning, curriculum development and behaviour approaches that reflect our ethos and priorities.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents/carers and the wider community, ensuring they are active partners in each child’s journey.
About you
- Degree/ QTS or equivalent qualification relevant to sector required.
- A strong understanding of primary‑aged learners and how to help them flourish.
- A genuine commitment to neuro‑affirming, trauma‑informed and child‑centred practice.
- Knowledge of statutory curriculum requirements, assessment and high‑quality teaching strategies.
- The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of developmental and communication needs.
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work closely with our Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy teams.
- Experience in a SEND setting (desirable but not essential).
