Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting construction and landscaping projects by performing a variety of manual tasks on-site. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient progress of projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained throughout. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Assisting with site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials
Digging trenches, foundations, or holes as required for various projects
Assisting with the movement and placement of building materials and equipment
Supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulation
Loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles
Following instructions from supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
with gravel boards and able to later
Experience is quite important
starting will be introduced with your experience that you have
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
laying and removing slabs

Pay: From £121.75 per day
