Occupational Therapist – School Based
Location: Walsall
Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role supporting children and young people in an educational setting? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OT to join a school in Walsall, providing specialist therapeutic interventions that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions to children and young people in a school environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN teams, and wider multidisciplinary professionals.
Assess student needs and develop individualised therapy plans to support emotional, sensory, and functional development.
Provide training and guidance to staff on therapeutic strategies and best practice.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.

Requirements

HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with children or within educational, SEN, or therapy‑focused settings (preferred).
Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
Ability to work term‑time only while delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions.
