Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi Skilled Trades Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse maintenance, repair, and construction tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door and window installation, and repairs
- Conduct roofing work such as patching, sealing, and full replacements as required
- Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply finishes
- Execute plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance of water systems
- Undertake masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing/damp proofing/plastering/rendering.
- Handle electrical tasks within scope of experience, including wiring and fixture installation
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various projects
- Fabricate components or structures as needed using appropriate techniques and materials
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plastering , rendering,plumbing, masonry, electrical work, fabrication or related trades (damp proofing related experience preferred)
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, screwdrivers
- Competence in operating power tools including drills, grinders.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices relevant to multiple trades
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to different tasks
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
