The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children. We aim to actively encourage women to be self-reliant, through empowering them to identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions.
Overall Responsibility for coordinating the service delivery and impact measurement of your chosen project on a day-to-day basis. Key projects currently requiring support are:
1. A Baby Bank Service
2. A Community Baby Shop Front
3. An E-Commerce Shop
4. Donation Sorting Parties
5. Outreach & Partnerships
6. Events, Fundraising & Sponsorships
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be instrumental in the growth and development of a fast-growing women & children’s charity. We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our team by ‘masterminding’ all aspects of running a preferred project at the charity. With your positive approach, you will enjoy working proactively and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and respond to the day to day needs of the service. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and get conversations going with a wide range of people. You will lead and coordinate a team of volunteers in the implementation and provision of a responsive, high quality and service user-focused project.
Project Management
- Develop and implement operational plans & roadmaps for your area of responsibility
- Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
- Provide leadership in your area of responsibility - Lead your team
- Establish information management and communication systems
- Receive, analyse, process and store information
- Promote our organisation, your project and its services to stakeholders
- Preparing reports and returns
- Manage finance for your area of responsibility
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
Volunteer Management
- Coordinate the implementation of WFRC’s volunteering policy
- Contribute to the recruitment and placement of volunteers for your team.
- Plan, organise and monitor the work of volunteers
- Lead and motivate volunteers
- Plan, organise and support team meetings
General Responsibilities

Community Development & Collaboration
