Job Title: Shift Supervisor
Location: Planet Play Soft Play Centre, Crediton, Devon
Hours: 3 days per week (including Saturdays)

The Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure our customers have an outstanding experience.
You will receive full training across all areas of the business, including food preparation, managing the online booking system, and acting as the main point of contact for party bookings and events.
Working days will be Saturday, Wednesday, and one additional day per week, which can be agreed based on the successful candidate’s availability.
Planet Play operates across two venues: Crediton and Honiton. This position will be primarily based at our Crediton site; however, flexibility is required as occasional cover at our Honiton venue may be needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team during your shift
- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered
- Oversee the safety and cleanliness of the play areas and facilities
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues efficiently
- Support staff training and performance
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Ensure all health and safety policies are followed
Requirements:
- Previous management or supervisory experience is essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work Saturdays
- A proactive and positive attitude
