About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Setter Technician to join our Production team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our machines running efficiently, setting up equipment, supporting production, and minimising downtime.
This is a varied, fast-paced role working across machinery such as winding, soldering, injection moulding, and inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust machinery for production runs
- Carry out changeovers quickly and efficiently
- Perform daily machine start-up checks
- Provide first-line support for faults and breakdowns
- Keep machines running within set parameters
- Work closely with production teams to maintain output
- Record issues and highlight recurring faults
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on machine setup or technical experience
- Strong mechanical or electrical understanding
- Basic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Team player with a proactive approach
Desirable:
- Experience with winding, soldering, injection moulding, or similar equipment
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship

Pay: £17.12 per hour
