The Westmorland and Furness Council Occupational Health team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator. Our team provides organisational and individual advice on all aspects of occupational health, and we are passionate about ensuring the wellbeing of our multi-disciplinary workforce.
You will be joining a well-established team, who provide statutory health surveillance, opinions on fitness for work and rehabilitation, and advice on legal compliance in OH matters.
About this opportunity
As an Occupational Health Administrator, you will be working within the Occupational Health Team alongside our clinical nursing team and our doctor. We are part of the Enabling Services Directorate who provide a wide range of health, wellbeing, and advice services to employees of Westmorland & Furness Council.
This is a diverse and interesting administration role for a highly motivated individual. We ensure the smooth running of the Occupational Health Department, carrying out a multitude of administrative tasks which can range from scheduling appointments, preparing files and setting up clinics to supporting our doctor. The role can, at times, require some cross-county travel.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for an organised and professional administrator, with exceptional attention to detail. A background in healthcare and experience in the use of clinical systems would be desirable but not essential as full training would be given.
The work is challenging and rewarding, it affords a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of skills and knowledge of working within a health environment.
