Penrith Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical individual to join our growing team.
- This is not your average cleaning job. Every week is different, with opportunities to work on specialist cleaning projects across Cumbria and the Lake District.

What You'll Be Doing
Your work will include a variety of specialist services such as:
- Commercial kitchen deep cleaning
- Pressure washing and exterior cleaning
- Steam cleaning and sanitisation
- Holiday let and commercial cleaning
- Carpet and upholstery cleaning
- Hard floor restoration
- Window and gutter cleaning
- End of tenancy and builders' cleans
You'll also help with:
- Maintaining and cleaning company equipment
- Keeping vans organised and stocked
- Preparing machinery and chemicals for jobs
- Reporting equipment faults
- Supporting larger commercial contracts
- Delivering excellent customer service on every visit

- Is physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Takes pride in doing a job properly
- Is polite and professional with customers
- Is willing to learn specialist cleaning techniques
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken and written English
- Able to work flexible hours when required
- Comfortable lifting and using specialist equipment
- Satisfactory references
- Successful DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous cleaning experience
- Pressure washing experience
- Maintenance or trade experience
- Commercial cleaning experience
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours
Typically 35–55 hours per week, depending on workload and seasonal demand.
Occasional early mornings, evenings or weekends may be required for commercial projects.
Pay
£13.50–£15.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Overtime opportunities available.
Pay: £13.50-£15.25 per hour
