Delivery Porter – Carlisle Hub

Every item we deliver is part of a customer’s dream home — and we’re looking for Delivery Porters to join our Carlisle hub team and help us make it happen.

This is more than just a delivery role: you’ll be part of a two-person team making sure our products arrive safely, are handled with care, and that our customers receive a professional, friendly service every time.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside a Driver to deliver and collect fitted furniture to customers across the region
Handling products carefully and ensuring items are placed safely and securely at customer sites
Assisting as a banksman when manoeuvring vehicles
Using a company-provided mobile device to record deliveries and paperwork
Keeping vehicles and delivery equipment (straps, blankets, etc.) clean and tidy
Acting as the face of Sharps – always professional, helpful, and customer-focused

What we’re looking for

A full driving licence (advantageous if you can drive vans/cars when needed)
Good level of fitness – this is a hands-on, physical role
Reliability, timekeeping, and a positive, can-do attitude
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering great customer service
Flexibility for occasional nights out as part of the rota

Work location: On the road, based from Carlisle Hub
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approx. 10-hour shifts
