Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant and play a vital role in delivering delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients to support cooking processes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Support the cooking team by assembling dishes and ensuring timely delivery of meals
Help with storing ingredients properly and rotating stock to minimize waste
Serve food to customers or staff in accordance with hygiene and presentation standards
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all kitchen activities
Support catering events or large-scale meal preparations as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a similar food service environment is preferred
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong teamwork skills with excellent attention to detail
Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt quickly in a busy kitchen setting
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a vibrant culinary environment
