Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stonemason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacture and fitting kitchen worktops and their like for mostly private customers.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit granite, marble, stone and quartz with precision.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople such as carpenters and builders to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Perform maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry or stonemasonry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as angle grinders and polishing tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship quality standards.
- Good physical fitness with the occasional ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.

Pay: £15.41-£28.33 per hour
