The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Head of Growth to own the business development and commercial strategy for Future Proof Cornwall. As we transition to a national stage, this role is critical to our success. You will be responsible for driving revenue, optimizing our sales operations, and expanding our market footprint around our core digital offerings (SEO, PPC, Web Design, and AI).
You will be the engine of our expansion, combining a deep understanding of digital marketing services with exceptional sales acumen. You will build and execute a scalable growth strategy, ensuring that our pipeline is robust and our conversion rates are high, all while maintaining the integrity and results-driven ethos of the Future Proof Cornwall brand.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary mandate as the Head of Growth will be commercial leadership and revenue generation. You will take full ownership of the agency's commercial strategy, setting and exceeding ambitious revenue targets as we expand nationally. This involves identifying new market opportunities, developing targeted outreach strategies, and closing high-value deals with national clients.
To support this growth, you will be tasked with building and optimizing our sales operations. You will design, implement, and refine scalable sales processes, from lead generation and qualification to pitching and closing. This includes implementing robust CRM practices and sales reporting to track performance, forecast revenue, and identify areas for continuous improvement in our sales funnel.
Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in business development and strategic partnerships. You will actively network and build relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Future Proof Cornwall as a premier digital partner. You will also collaborate closely with the marketing and delivery teams to ensure our commercial offerings are aligned with market demand and our agency's capabilities, helping to package our digital and AI services effectively for a national audience.
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue and managing sales operations, specifically within a digital marketing agency or a closely related B2B digital service environment. You must have demonstrable experience in scaling commercial operations and successfully selling digital services such as SEO, paid media, and web development to mid-market and enterprise clients.
We are looking for a highly commercial individual with a hunter mentality, possessing excellent negotiation and closing skills. You should be adept at building sales processes and utilizing CRM systems to drive efficiency and accountability. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to build relationships both externally with clients and internally across different departments.
